What type of wax do you use?
We use premium soy wax in all of our candles and wax melts. Soy wax is known for its clean burn, excellent fragrance throw, and renewable, plant-based origin, making it a wonderful choice for creating a warm and inviting home fragrance experience.
Why does my candle or wax melt look slightly different from the photos?
Every Whiskerlight candle and wax melt is individually handcrafted in small batches. Because of this, colors, wax designs, and decorative details may vary slightly from the photos shown online and from one product to another. These natural variations are part of what makes every Whiskerlight creation unique.
Why has my candle changed color?
Soy wax may naturally discolor over time or with prolonged exposure to sunlight. This is completely normal and does not affect the quality, fragrance, or performance of your candle or wax melt.
Why does fragrance strength vary?
Fragrance is a personal experience, and its strength can vary from one person to another. Factors such as room size, ceiling height, airflow, humidity, and even individual scent sensitivity can all influence how a fragrance is perceived. While we carefully craft every Whiskerlight candle and wax melt using premium fragrance oils, each person's experience may be slightly different.
How do I choose the right scent?
Choosing the perfect fragrance comes down to personal preference. If you enjoy sweet, comforting aromas, our bakery-inspired scents may be a great fit. Prefer something fresh and relaxing? Explore our clean and herbal fragrances. If you're drawn to warm, sophisticated scents, our woodsy and masculine-inspired fragrances might be your favorite. Each product description is designed to help you imagine the experience and find the scent that feels most like home.
Are your fragrances safe for pets?
The safety and well-being of your pets is important to us. Our candles and wax melts are made with premium fragrance oils and are intended for normal home use. However, because every pet is different and some animals may be more sensitive to fragrances than others, we recommend using any home fragrance in a well-ventilated area and ensuring your pets can comfortably leave the room if they choose. If your pet has a known respiratory condition or sensitivity, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use.
How do I safely use wax melts?
Always use wax melts in a wax warmer specifically designed for wax melts, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for your warmer. Never add water to the wax, leave a warmer unattended while in use, or place it near flammable materials. Keep wax melts and warmers out of reach of children and pets, and allow the wax to cool completely before handling or replacing it.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on used candles or wax melts. If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. We'll be happy to work with you to make it right.
How long does shipping take?
Because each Whiskerlight product is handcrafted with care, orders are typically processed and shipped within 7–10 business days. While many orders may ship sooner, this timeframe allows us to carefully hand-pour, prepare, and package your order to ensure it meets our quality standards.
